AWS today announced the immediate availability of NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super on Amazon Bedrock, a high-performance language model optimized for text generation, complex reasoning, summarization, and code generation. The model can be invoked alongside other foundation models via the unified Bedrock API without any infrastructure management. Read background on Bedrock's role.
In addition, Amazon Redshift now delivers up to 7x faster performance for new queries in dashboards and ETL workloads — a breakthrough for users who frequently run uncached, first-time queries. This reduces wait times for interactive dashboards and accelerates ETL pipelines, especially for workloads with high query variability. “This is particularly impactful for workloads with high query variability where cache hits are less frequent,” said Daniel Abib, Senior Specialist Solutions Architect at AWS.
AWS also introduced the Nova Forge SDK, a streamlined tool for fine-tuning and customizing Amazon Nova models for enterprise AI. The SDK handles the heavy lifting of model customization, allowing businesses to adapt Nova models to domain-specific data and deploy them directly within Amazon Bedrock — reducing complexity and accelerating tailored AI solutions.
Finally, Amazon Corretto 26, the latest long-term support release of the no-cost, production-ready OpenJDK distribution, is now generally available. It includes the newest Java language features, performance improvements, and security patches, all backed by AWS long-term support across development and production environments on Amazon Linux and other platforms.
Background
Amazon Bedrock is AWS’s managed service for building generative AI applications using foundation models from multiple providers. The addition of NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super expands Bedrock's model catalog, giving developers more options for reasoning-heavy and code-generation tasks. Bedrock provides a single API to invoke models while abstracting the underlying infrastructure, enabling rapid experimentation and deployment.

The Nova Forge SDK, meanwhile, addresses the growing demand for domain-specific AI customization without the need to build complex training pipelines. It integrates directly with Bedrock, enabling enterprises to fine-tune Nova models with their own data and deploy them in production quickly.

What This Means
For enterprises, the combination of faster Redshift queries and new foundation model choices on Bedrock translates to lower latency in data analytics and more powerful AI capabilities — all without additional operational overhead. The up to 7x Redshift performance gain is particularly valuable for real-time dashboards and ETL processes that rely on fresh, uncached data.
The availability of Nemotron 3 Super on Bedrock allows developers to experiment with a state-of-the-art language model focused on reasoning and code generation, while the Nova Forge SDK simplifies the journey from generic AI to custom enterprise solutions. Corretto 26 ensures Java developers have access to the latest language features and security updates on a stable, long-term supported platform.
These releases together signal AWS’s continued investment in making advanced AI and data processing more accessible, scalable, and cost-effective for businesses of all sizes. As Daniel Abib noted, “You can now invoke Nemotron 3 Super alongside other foundation models in your existing Bedrock workflows, without managing any infrastructure.”
