This year, the event delivers an unexpected surprise: Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2, the turn-based tactics sequel, will launch during the Skulls broadcast on May 21—earlier than many anticipated. Fans of the original are eager to dive in, especially after the demo left a strong impression. A Revamped Cognition System
One of the most anticipated changes in Mechanicus 2 is the overhauled Cognition system. Unlike the first game, where Cognition points were shared across your forces, each unit now generates and spends its own points in unique ways. New Faction: Leagues of Votann
The sequel also introduces a major new faction to the Warhammer 40,000 universe: the Leagues of Votann.
